This Privacy Policy describes how Cart2Quote ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our Shopify application.

Information We Collect

Cart2Quote is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or process any personal customer data.

Our app only accesses:

• Product information (names, prices, images) to generate PDF quotes
• Cart contents temporarily during PDF generation
• Basic store settings configured by the merchant

How We Use Information

The information accessed is used solely to generate PDF quote documents. Cart data is processed in real-time and is not stored on our servers after the PDF is generated and delivered.

Data Storage

We store only:

• Merchant store settings (company name, address, quote validity, etc.)
• Authentication tokens required by Shopify for app functionality

We do not store any customer personal information, cart data, or order history.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer any information to third parties. The only data transmission occurs between your Shopify store and our application servers to generate PDF documents.

GDPR Compliance

Since we do not collect or store personal customer data, Cart2Quote minimizes GDPR compliance concerns. We respond to all mandatory Shopify compliance webhooks:

• Customer data request – We confirm we hold no customer data
• Customer data erasure – No action needed as we store no customer data
• Shop data erasure – We delete all merchant settings upon request

Data Retention

Merchant settings are retained while the app is installed. Upon uninstallation, all associated data is automatically deleted within 48 hours.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data transmission and secure authentication via Shopify's OAuth system.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify merchants of any significant changes through the app interface.
